RECENT NEWS
The Tosca String Quartet won the 2009 Austin Critics Table Award for Best Chamber Performance! The sold-out concert took place March 1st at the Alamo Drafthouse Ritz in downtown Austin to showcase the 10-year anniversary of Graham Reynolds and Peter Stopschinski's Golden Hornet Project. The performance also marked Graham and Peter's first collaboration with the quartet.
The awards were handed out June 1st and we're really happy to have won.
IN MEMORY OF STEPHEN BRUTON (November 7, 1948 - May 9, 2009)
It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to our friend, Stephen Bruton, who lost a long and valiant battle with cancer last week. We were honored to have performed with him, and mourn his loss like so many whose lives he touched.
